What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way. Both let a site remember information between page loads.

What we use

  • Essential storage: used to keep the site working, protect forms from abuse, and keep signed-in staff sessions active in the private admin area.
  • Preference storage: used only if you dismiss a notice or set an option, so we do not show it again.
  • Google Analytics 4: uses cookies and similar technologies to measure visits and interactions on public pages. Cookies may include _ga and property-specific _ga_* cookies used to distinguish browsers and sessions.
  • Microsoft Clarity: uses cookies and similar technologies for public-page heatmaps and session recordings. Cookies may include _clck and _clsk to associate interactions with a browser and session. Microsoft may also use other cookies under its own terms and privacy statement.

Cookie names and lifetimes can vary with provider settings and updates. See Google’s cookie documentation and Microsoft Clarity’s cookie list for provider details. Our Google Analytics and Clarity implementation excludes the private admin area.

Third-party embeds

Pages that embed outside content, such as a social post or video, may allow that provider to set its own cookies. Those are governed by the provider’s policy.

Managing cookies

Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies in its privacy settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent forms and sign-in from working correctly.

Consent-management status

The site does not currently offer a consent banner or an on-site analytics consent control. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are enabled on public pages without such a choice. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, but are not a substitute for an on-site consent mechanism where one is required.

Consent requirements, including Microsoft Clarity’s requirements for visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, remain under review. This policy update discloses the existing integrations; it does not establish legal compliance.
